Three hours later they were home again. The bunk beds were carefully piled in the bath tub of the bachelor apartment and their old double bed was fully set up in the middle of the living room. Angie was already in her new bed writing in her diary as Calan finished drying her hair. She crawled in beside Angie and snuggled down with her head against Angie’s hip.

“Ummm,” she purred. “New bed, new pillows, new sheets, same wonderful girlfriend. Life is good.”

“Yes, it is my love,” agreed Angela, as she turned off the light and snuggled down with Callie. “Yes, it is.” She lightly kissed Calan’s cheek, and found she was already asleep. “Sweet dreams, dear heart,” she whispered softly.
